--- Protein characterization by mass spectrometry is performed on multiple Applied Biosystems/MDS Sciex QStar hybrid LC/MS/MS quadrupole TOF systems, an Applied Biosystems Voyager DE-STR MALDI-TOF. These systems offer both the high resolution and high sensitivity needed for molecular mass determination of proteins and characterization of peptides.
